Overview

Deltassist specializes in tyre puncture repair for truck and bus tyre breakdown services with 24 hours tyre emergency. A large percentage of their business comes from roadside assistance on highways.

The goal of this project was to redesign their website, increase their online appearance, SEO optimizing, on/off page, link building, brand strategics and Google Ads.

My Role

Marketing Communications Strategy, Social Media Management, Brand Management, Content Management, Blogger, Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Strategist, Web Developer. Paid Media Manger. 

Brief

Background 

Deltassist is based in Fourways. Johannesburg. The business operates 24/7 hours operations. Helping driver's of trucks, buses and cars who had a tyre puncture on the side of the road. I had to help the business increase their online visibility, increase calls to the business. Increase their search ranking on Google SEO and Google Ads.

I support the team in idea generation and strategy implementation. I'm responsible for social media management and user-generated content management.

 

I'm extremely fortunate for the experience, and I'm getting to implement my knowledge to a real life project. Some key achievements are listed below:

  • Implemented a successful strategy to solve a problem. I'm involved in the process of strategy formation by brainstorming through Zoom meetings, consistent WhatsApp messaging, and weekly meetings & analysis. 

  • I was able to input my previous social media experience and extensive academic knowledge while also learning from the business. 

  • Developing trusting relationships with stakeholders. 

Understanding the Problem

I'm actively listening, asked questions and took notes in the first initial meeting. Understanding the client's needs and what do they want to see. Their goal targets and their timeframe of results. Understanding their frustrations and pains.

Using my knowledge I suggested the following:

  • Having a clear landing page on the site.

  • Optimizing on & off pages on the website.

  • Creating link building and domain authority.

  • Bring value to clients and educate your customers.

  • Use effective keywords people search and use clear image on their sites. 

  • The power of social media grew exponentially and online traffic increased.

  • User-generated content encourages followers to interact and engage while also encouraging others to share content.
